Welcome to the Legion of Mars!
Welcome to the Legion of Mars! New Orleans' only Military-themed Krewe

The Cincinnatus Club

The Cincinnatus Club was created in order to honor the past and present members of the Armed Forces, their families, and to provide the citizens of New Orleans a military-themed Mardi Gras krewe. We also encourage camaraderie among our krewe members by participating in activities of a patriotic and social nature, which may benefit military members, their memory, or their family. Our goal is to be affordable to all members, be inclusive, and to enjoy the fellowship that military service brings.

Military Philanthropy

The Cincinnatus Club supports military philanthropic
projects in the Greater New Orleans Area, having our
patriotic members get involved in our local communities.

Membership in the Krewe for 2018-2019

All military (current & prior), their families and any friends of the military are cordially invited to apply for membership.  We are in our 6th year and are going strong.  We have a great ball and parade, as well as other activities such as a Veteran's Day social, Annual meeting & Crawfish Boil, and various philanthropic events such as laying flags on Veterans' graves for Memorial Day.

We are implementing some changes for the upcoming year, which runs from 1 July 2018 through 30 June 2019, and includes the 2019 Ball and Parade.  We are doing our best to ensure that our dues remain among the lowest in the city, but with a quality ball and parade.  As initiated last year, all riders must be members, unless they are a first-time guest of a member.

This year we will have “EARLY BIRD” rates; those who pay their membership fees by 31 July 2018 will pay less than those who pay 1 Aug 2018 or later.

Below is our membership structure and fees:

Thank you for any contribution you are able to make!

Thank you to Col Hadden for his 2018 Letter of Thanks
to the Legion of Mars.

Entire Team Legion of Mars,

It is hard to find the right words to express our sincere gratitude to all
of you for your gracious hospitality, and friendship.  With a few
seconds to meet my wife Trish and I you made us feel like family
we had known all of our lives.  You looked out for us, guided us, and
made us feel like a part of your team, and like we had always shared
this opportunity together.

To everyone, we offer our sincere thanks, and if you are ever visiting
Fort Benning let us know so we can Host you here.  If someone has
pictures of our Motley Purple Heart crew, we would love to get a couple.
For the entire team, What a wild and wonderful Krewe.
